Las Cantanteras Vacation Home is a cosy apartment of 104m2, with two suites, on the beachfront of Las Canteras, in La Puntilla. Located in the best area, the most demanded and desired by visitors and residents, with fantastic views and great atmosphere.
This holiday home is located on the second floor of an exclusive building built between 1940 and 1945. Currently dedicated to holiday exploitation, complying with all legal regulations, has been rehabilitated several times, being the last in July 2017 by the current owners the Lozano Escobar family, who wanted to recover the original construction elements of the building, including the original floor of 1940, with beautiful decoration details and an elevator that reaches the interior of the apartment. Since the house was completely renovated in 2017, all the facilities (electricity, water…) are completely new.
The comfort and rest is guaranteed by the thermal and acoustic insulation of the double thermal bridge windows that will keep you away from the sounds coming from the promenade of Las Canteras beach and from the small thermal variations of the mild temperature of the area.
It should be noted its location, since it is the most demanded and desired area due to several reasons:
- Its orientation and exclusive location, since it is sheltered from the wind.
- It is the part of the beach with the best quality of sand and water.
- The sun in the afternoon does not bother because of its orientation, unlike other areas where the sun dazzles in the afternoon, which impedes the vision and overheats the house.
- It possesses the best views of the beach.
- It is located in the area with the best and largest number of services, such as supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants, kiosks, hardware stores, hairdressers, fashion stores, banks, transports (taxi and bus) stops, public parking, etc …, everything less than 200 meters away.
This holiday home has been named “Las Cantanteras”. This name emerges as the union of two words: “Las Canteras” and “La Cantante”.
With “La Cantante” we want to remember and make reference to the famous singer of Canarian folk music María Mérida who lived in this building in the nineties, as shown by the commemorative plaque of the City Council of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on May 30th, 1992 located on the building’s entrance hall.
Our Objective
Our goal is that you have a good time, that you enjoy, and that your holiday dream is realized in our apartment, for that we have tried to have everything necessary and that makes your comfort the best in the Vv Las Cantanteras.
The apartment is ideal for 4 adults who like comfort and convenience or for any other combination, 2 adults and 2 children, two adults and a child, an adult, etc., and is equipped with a removable baby crib if our guests they want to spend unforgettable holidays with their baby under the sun and the blue sky of Gran Canaria, in the blond sand of Las Canteras.
